We will be holding an important SOAS UNISON online branch meeting to take place between 10.30am and 11.30 am on Tuesday 28 April 2020. HR have agreed to inform line managers to rearrange any meetings/ catch ups to facilitate this.
The Meeting will take place via Collaborate. Members have been sent a link to the webroom (which becomes active 15 minutes prior to the meeting). The webroom will open in your web browser – no additional software is required. Please use your full name as your username so you can be identified. International Workers Memorial Day Commemoration
The 28 April is International Workers Memorial Day. UNISON, the RCN, the RCM and the TUC are calling for a minute’s silence on the day at 11am (https://www.unison.org.uk/new
The proposal is to pause the meeting at 11am to collectively observe the minute’s silence.

2. SOAS proposals on “furloughing” under the Government’s Job Retention Scheme.
3. Update on issues like Health and Safety risk assessments and Annual Leave carry over.
