Action on Pay

Strike action on pay continues on the 24th and 25th March commencing at 00:00 on the Tuesday.

In preparation some exec members will be facilitating drop-ins ahead of the strike days for anyone who wants to talk about the strike and ask questions.

•    Wednesday 18th – 12:10-12:50 – Amanda Kodaka in room RB01
•    Friday 20th – 10:10-10:50 – Greg Potter in room S113
•    Monday 23rd – 13:10-13:50 – Antonia Bright in room C232

Plans for the 24th and 25th strike days

• Picket lines at the main SOAS gate closest to Russell Square and Malet Street.
• The picket will start early. We encourage members to get there.
• We will hold lunchtime rallies, to invite UCU colleagues, non-members and students to join us.

SOAS UNISON members are encouraged to join the strike by not working either on site or from home, not answering emails or taking part in any work-related activities.

Tell your colleagues about the strike action and encourage them to join UNISON and take part. New members can join anytime up to the day of strike and be able to claim strike pay.
